The current dye range is as follows:

iDye
Dyeing fabric in a washing machine has never been easier.
iDye comes in a packet that dissolves in water which means there is no handling of messy dye powders. Just throw the dye packet in, add salt and run through the wash cycle. It is the ultimate easy way to get gorgeous colour! iDye comes in 38 vibrant colours30 colours for 100% natural fabrics such as cotton, silk, rayon, wool, and linen, and 8 colours for polyesters and nylons. There are also two laundry aids: Colour Remover, which will remove or lighten a colour and brighten whites; and Sun Blocker, which when added to the wash cycle will penetrate clothing and will block harmful UV rays from the sun. The iDye packets come in 14 gram packages and will dye 2 to 3 pounds of fabric.

ACID DYE

(Don't be alarmed by the name, the only acid involved is vinegar)

Acid Dyes produce the most vibrant colors possible on protein fibers and nylon. These concentrated, powdered, hot water dyes are the best dyes available for silk, wool, cashmere, alpaca, feathers, and nylon. Extremely brilliant and colorfast, these dyes are very easy to use and produce a uniform dye job. A 14gm (half ounce) bottle will color up to 954gms (two pounds) of fibre depending on the depth of shade.

If you can do a load of laundry, you can use these dyes. It's that easy. In addition to garment dyeing in a washing machine, you can use them to paint or print. Most importantly, the colours are a beautiful, pure, transparent and luscious enough to dive into. The results and ease of use makes this dye a favourite with our artist customers.

Procion MX

This cold water fiber reactive dye is know the world over. The undisputed king of tie dye, Procion MX is also one of the most versatile dyes available. Use it for immersion dyeing, tie dye, batik, airbrush, garment dyeing, screen printing, spatter painting, gradation dyeing and more!
This cold water concentrated dye, which you add to tap water, is the most vivid of all dyes for cellulose fibers. If you have seen someone wearing a super bright almost "electric" tie dyed shirt that nearly blurs your vision, that's Procion MX!
You can easily create a palette of colors ranging from light pastels to deep, vibrant hues. Typically, one 18gm (2/3 oz.) bottle will dye more than 454gm (1 pound) of fabric - very bright colors will require more dye, pastel colors will require less. Procion MX fiber reactive dye will dye all cellulose (plant) fibers and some protein (animal) fibers. Commmon cellulose fibers are cotton, linen, jute, ramie, sisal, and rayon. For best results on protein fibers we recommend using Jacquard Acid Dyes.

Green Label Silk Dyes

Liquid dyes for silk painting, these easy to use dyes, produce rich, transparent colors that allow the translucent nature of the fabric to shine through.
All 20 colors may be blended to produce an infinite range of vivid colors that flow freely on silk.

Silk Colors are true dyes, not thinned pigments, so they do not stiffen the silk or cover the luster. All 20 colors may be blended together into an infinite range of vivid colors or diluted with water for pastels. These simple to use dyes are lightfast, odorless, non-toxic, contain no alcohol and can be hand washed or dry-cleaned.

Green Label Silk Colors can be set in one of two ways, by immersion in our Permanent Dyeset Concentrate mixed with water or by steaming.
The Dyeset Concentrate method takes 5 minutes, produces excellent colors and couldn't be easier. But for the absolute best colours these dyes should be steam set.

Rit Dyes and associated Products

Dyeing Wood & Flax

Using Rit Dye to stain unfinished wood and flax creates beautiful results.
The dyes can be mixed to create custom colours that coordinate or match other home decor accessories.
Rit is a water-based dye that can be applied like a stain. Unlike some heavy oil-based colour stains, it allows the natural wood grain to show through, adding depth and texture to the finished project.
And, since wood and flax absorb the dye, the colours won't chip or peel like paint.
